Truck Driver Qualifications Qualification Question #1 of 24
Before you sign up or give money to a truck driving school operating with the promise of a trucking job after CDL training you should take the truck driver qualification test. This test is designed to let you know if you are qualified to be hired by a trucking company that will take new truck drivers before you waste a bunch of money, time, or both getting trained for a job you are not qualified for, and will not get hired to do. Failing to meet any of these hiring standards means you will not be hirable as a new truck driver. To avoid being mislead go ahead and fill out the CDL training form after you take and pass the exam if you are in fact qualified to become a truck driver. "Went to xxxxx trucking school & I was prehired by xxxxxxx, I completed the school had already paid my 3900.00 got an orientation date went to orientation then somebody comes out of the office says come in the office then they tell me they can't hire me & I would have to leave. So after they have my money & time they just thru me away and I asked why I didn't gualify they said it's their policy not to say, I said well that's not my policy, but still have not got an answer, I said you hired me if I got my class A & I did, with a 93.6 gpa & now your firing me. don't you have to tell me why your letting me go, she said no. I said why did you call me to orientation then you've had all my info for a long time why would you call me to orientation if I wasn't qualified, she wouldn't answer.
