The CDL Test

The CDL test or the commercial drivers license test, is a test that will require some study time and practice to pass. This is real easy stuff for a truck driver who has been driving for years and uses the information on a daily basis but for the newcomer, not so easy. With the use of the free information available here at this site you will be able to study for the CDL test and pass it in record time.

The CDL test is just a minor little bump in the road that you will someday look back at and laugh about when you are driving down the road in a big truck. The regular Class A CDL permit test consists of the General Knowledge, Air Brakes, and Combination Vehicles tests. Many trucking schools will recommend that you pass the Hazmat test as well. CDLpracticetest.net recommends getting your doubles and triples as well as your tanker endorsement also.

To get your CDL permit to drive a truck during training you will have to pass the 3 aforementioned written CDL tests at the DMV. To get your CDL License you will need to pass a driving test that includes an entire pre-trip inspection of a tractor trailer, backing, and driving segment with a state licensed examiner. Believe it or not, studying for the CDL test is probably the hardest part of the whole process.

To get ready for the CDL test use the free CDL practice tests which you can navigate to by using the links on the left side of this page. Each CDL exam is free to use as many times as you like and all of the tests are graded for you on a percentage basis at the end showing you your answer and the correct CDL test answer.
